The Tile Setters

My story is out at Intergalactic Medicine Show.

The illustration really captures the heart of the story. Thanks to Kevin Wasden for that.

An issue at IGMS is US 2.50. I’ve been reading this magazine from its first issue and the stories are always a great treat. It is awesome to have mine among them.

  1. Congrats Ami!

I just wish I could stomach Card — I find his political views truly awful, and it just makes me not want to give him any of my money. 🙁

  2. Pity, Rich, that you let political things get in the way of good fiction. (Not just talking about my stuff, but all the incredible stories in that magazine and his fiction) He’s done a lot of good for a lot of writers.

Us vs Them mentality is one of the most destructive things to civilization.

  3. I’ve actually read some of Card’s fiction, and find some of it OK, other stories kinda dumb, but neither compelling enough to continue, especially when I find so much of his non-fiction so distasteful. Sorry, I don’t see it as an us-vs-them issue as much as supporting a nit wit and his silly and sometimes downright retarded (and even socially harmful) views. Sorry! Maybe he should just stick to fiction, since his “facts” can be pretty wacko.
